1. Who We Are and What This Policy Covers
Crystal Coven Creations ("we," "us," "our") is an art studio and spiritual practice based in Hudson, Florida. This single Privacy Policy covers all of the following (together, the "Services"):

Other current and future channels through which we provide our own products, content, or services, including online shops, social media, newsletters, digital downloads, workshops, events, and in-person offerings. The provisions about particular features, such as app accounts or AI interpretations, apply only where those features are offered. This policy covers information we handle, not the independent data practices of third-party platforms.
Purchases made through the Etsy Shop are additionally governed by Etsy's own policies.
This policy is meant to be read together with our separate Disclaimers and Terms of Use. The same documents apply to our offerings across the channels described above, with feature-specific provisions applying only where relevant.
2. Information We Collect
Information you give us. Your name, email address, phone number, shipping or billing details, order information, artwork commission details, the questions you ask in a reading, and messages you send us.
Information created when you use the App. Your account details, subscription and plan status, the questions you ask, the cards you draw, the readings and interpretations generated for you, clarification requests, and the preferences you save, such as your deck choices and whether readings are archived.
Information collected automatically. Device type, browser and operating system, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, app usage, and crash information. The Site uses cookies; the App uses local storage and a session token instead.
Payment information. Payments are handled by the payment provider for the transaction: Wix for subscriptions and deck purchases on the Site, Google Play for in-app purchases, and Etsy for artwork. We do not receive or store your full card number.
3. How We Use Information
To provide and operate the Services; create and maintain your account; process purchases and subscriptions; generate your readings and interpretations; create commissioned artwork; fulfill orders; keep your reading history; respond to you; support you; send you the emails you've asked for, such as deck-selection reminders; keep the Services secure; and improve them.
Marketing. If you sign up for our newsletter, we'll use your email address to send news, offers, and artwork updates. Every such email lets you unsubscribe, and unsubscribing does not affect account emails.
4. Tarot Readings and Automated Interpretation
This section matters, so we are stating it plainly.
When you draw cards in the App and ask for an interpretation, the information needed to produce that interpretation is sent to a third-party artificial intelligence provider, which writes the text. That information is:

the question you typed-

the cards you drew, their positions, and whether each was reversed-

the focus you chose, such as love, money, or career, and the type of spread
We send it so your interpretation can be written. We do not use it to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell it. Because the interpretation is produced by an outside AI service, please treat it as you would any AI-generated text.
Please do not enter Social Security numbers, banking or card details, passwords, medical records, or other highly sensitive information into your questions or readings.
The same applies to personal tarot readings you request through the Site: what you share with us is used to prepare your reading.
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under applicable privacy law.
We share it only with service providers who help us run the Services, and only as needed:

Email and communication providers: to deliver our emails

Analytics providers: to understand how the Services are used
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or when it is reasonably necessary to protect our business, our users, or our legal rights. If our business is ever sold or merged, information may transfer as part of that transaction, and we will tell you if that changes how your information is handled.
6. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to run the site, remember your preferences, process purchases, measure traffic, and keep things secure. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings.
The App does not use advertising cookies. It stores a small amount of data on your device, such as your session and saved preferences, so that it can work properly.
7. How We Protect and Retain Information
All traffic to the Site and the App is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. Passwords are stored in hashed form and cannot be read by us. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards and limit access to information to those who need it.
How long we keep things:

Reading history: On Seeker and Mystic plans, readings are automatically deleted 30 days after they are created. On the Oracle plan, you choose in Settings whether readings auto-delete after 30 days or are archived and kept until you delete them.-

Account information: kept while your account is open.

Purchase and transaction records: kept as long as required for tax, accounting, and fraud-prevention purposes, even after an account closes.

Deletion requests: kept as a record that we honored the request.
8. Deleting Your Account and Your Information
You may ask us to delete your account and the information associated with it at any time, and we will complete it within 30 days.
In the App. Go to Settings → Delete Account. This begins the deletion of your account, your reading history, your subscription record, and your deck purchases.
Without app access. Use the deletion request page at crystalcovenoracles.com/request-deletion, or the Contact Us page at www.crystalcovencreations.com, or email create@crystalcovencreations.com. We will confirm when we receive your request and again when it is complete.
What we keep. Even after deletion, we may retain transaction, tax, accounting, and fraud-prevention records where the law requires it, along with a record of the request itself. Everything else is deleted or anonymized.
Artwork and personal readings. To have personal information removed from an artwork order or a personal reading, contact us through the Site or email us. Certain transaction and tax records may be retained as required by law.
9. Your Privacy Rights
Wherever you live, you can contact us to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, receive a copy, delete it, or ask us to stop sending you marketing. Email create@crystalcovencreations.com. We will respond within the time the law allows, and we will not charge you or treat you differently for exercising these rights.
If you live in California or another state with its own privacy law, you have additional rights, including the right to know what we collect and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We do not sell or share it, so there is nothing to opt out of, but you are welcome to ask us to confirm that.
10. International Users
We are based in the United States. Our service providers, including Wix, Google, and the AI provider, may process your information in the United States or other countries. If you use the Services from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
11. Children's Privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you are under 18, please use the Services only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. If Something Goes Wrong
If we become aware of a security incident affecting your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when our Services, technology, or legal requirements change. When we do, we update the date at the top, and if the changes are significant we will tell you in the App or by email. The current version always lives at this address, and the same wording is used in both the Site and the App.
